Both the Hultquist Library on the Jamestown Campus and the Cattaraugus County Campus Library have job opportunities for currently enrolled JCC students.

The libraries employ students on an hourly basis in positions that are both challenging and responsible. The libraries offer consistent work schedules that accommodate your academic schedule and other recurring commitments.  The libraries employ student workers throughout the academic year (including over academic breaks and between semesters) and during the summer.

How do I apply?

Most student jobs at Jamestown Community College can be applied for online at https://www.sunyjcc.edu/about/human-resources/student-workers.  To ensure your application gets to the library, be sure to select the library box.

Who Can Apply:
Anyone currently enrolled at JCC is eligible for student employment. International students will need to have the appropriate work visa in place in order to be hired.

When to Apply:
Most student jobs are available during Fall, Spring, and Summer Semesters. If you get an interview, bring along your class schedule or a list of times you will be free to work.

Qualifications:
Previous library work is helpful but not necessary. The libraries look for skills in working with people, typing, computers, filing, or audio-visual equipment. You also should have flexible hours and good work habits. Most libraries prefer to hire work study students but welcome applications from all eligible students.
