Primo is a discovery search tool that will let you search all the books, ebooks and media owned by the JCC Libraries, as well as from other SUNY institutions. 

You will find Primo on the library homepage. 

You can:

1. Do a quick search in the catalog for a book, ebook or video

2. Click on "Search Primo" to open the Primo homepage for additional resources and more in-depth search options.

• Sign in to your account from the top right of the Primo homepage (click on the three dots...if you don't see Sign in).  Use your JCC username and password.
• Type your keywords, author name or title into the search box and hit enter. 
• On the results page, look under Tweak your results, or click on the filter icon for a list of filters.  Here are some options:
  • Look under Availability: To see only print books (not eBooks) click on Held by Library.  Expand Library and select a campus to see only materials from that location.
  • To see only eBooks click on Available Online under Availability.
  • Expand Subject to see if you can further refine your results.  Mark the check box to select a subject, or click on the red check box at the right of a subject to remove it from your results.

• From the result list, click a title to access the item's full record.
  • For print books make a note of the call number shown next to Available at.
  • For eBooks click the Available Online link beneath the title to see a list of resources where the book is available.  Click on any of the resource links to read the book.

NOTE: Primo works best with Firefox and Chrome browsers.
