How do I make a hanging indent in Word or Google Docs?

- To create a hanging indent in Word.
- Highlight the text to be indented
- Select the Home tab
- Click on the little arrow in the lower right side of the Paragraph menu item (if you are using Word on a Mac, click "Format" on the main menu and select "Paragraph")
- Under Indentation, select Hanging from the Special drop-down box
- Click the OK button
- Shortcut in Word: highlight the text and press the Control key along with the letter T.
- In Google Docs, highlight the text to be indented.
- go to Format from the top menu bar
- Select Align & indent>Indentation options>Special Indent>Hanging.
