Answer

The following assistive technology available for JCC students and other library patrons.

Hultquist Library:

  • ZoomText Magnifier/screen reader software that provides a full range of magnification levels up to 16x. Synthetic voice reads documents, Web pages, and e-mail to accommodate low vision users, as well as those with learning and physical impairments. (1 workstation)
  • Acrobat LCD - The Acrobat LCD provides magnification of text, photos, and graphics in full color on a 19" screen. A Mode button provides options for viewing in full color, black-and-white, enhanced-positive, enhance-negative, yellow on blue, green on black, or yellow on black. It is located in the Law Section outside the Hultquist Library classroom (HULT103). A user’s manual is available for check-out at the Circulation Desk.
  • ViP Master Lens magnifying glass
