Where can I access information on financial data?
Company financials, such as balance sheets, income statements, SEC filings, and annual reports can be found in the Library Databases. From the JCC Library Homepage, click on "Databases by Subject" and then select "Business" from the dropdown list and Apply. Here are a few that are recommended:
- Business Insights: Essentials: search for a company by name or ticker symbol, then choose the Financials link
- LexisNexis - Company Dossiers: enter a company name or ticker symbol on the "Find a Company" page, then click on a link in the results list.
In Print the Hultquist Library Reference Collection has the RMA Annual Statement Studies : Financial Ratio Benchmarks (the current version may be on reserve at the circulation desk). Barron's Weekly is also available from the Hultquist Periodical Collection. From the JCC Library Homepage, click on "SEARCH FOR BOOKS" in the top menu bar to search the Library Catalog for additional print sources.
You can consult the Website of the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) (link below)
