Is there an online dictionary I could use?

There are a couple of places you can try:

From the JCC Library Homepage (link below) go to Databases by Title under SEARCH COLLECTIONS.  You will find the Oxford English Dictionary under the letter "O".  If you are off-campus you will need your JCC Student ID and password to access the database.

The JCC Internet Sources Libguide (under Libguides on the JCC Library Homepage) contains a "Dictionaries" page (link below).  Dictionary.com or Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary are both good online dictionaries.
